Literally would have never found half of these places

I really enjoyed this Milano Fashion Tour because it doesn’t take you to your typical big-name designers. I mean, you do see Armani, and while that was beautiful, you also go to these small, independent cute boutiques. I would have never found the Japanese place on my own! And I loved the vintage furniture at the first stop.

Learned more than I expected on this Milan Fashion Tour

Our tour guide Sara was incredible. A very bright, friendly, and fun young woman. We could tell she had a lot of experience in the industry, and answered pretty much all of our questions. This woman could guess which designer made which garment on sight, without even looking at the tag! We really learned a lot from her.

DESCRIPTION

Milan Fashion Tour

SEE SOPHISTICATED FASHION BEYOND JUST CLOTHING

The Milan Fashion Tour begins with fashionable items unrelated to clothing. You’ll visit Roberta e Basta - a high-end art gallery exhibiting vintage furniture, chic décor, and exclusive works of art. Here, you’ll see Ponti’s maple cabinet, originally designed for the Royal Hotel in Naples, and Fontana’s “Concetti Spaziali”, a series of oval-shaped brass Spatialist sculptures. Other treasures include Martini’s "La Fede e la Luce" sculpture and Buffet’s "Moustique" painting.

JEWELRY IN AN INDEPENDENT JAPANESE ATELIER

Your guide will lead you to a true hidden gem - a Japanese jewelry shop! Nestled in the streets of the Navigli, this atelier is also the designer’s workspace. Take your time exploring richly-detailed jewelry; they’re made using traditional Japanese techniques and incorporate rare and beautiful gemstones while retaining a classic minimalist style. In other words, you’ll definitely find something you like!

DISCOVER BEAUTIFUL GARMENTS FROM FAMOUS DESIGNERS

Continue to the Cavalli e Nastri boutique, where you’ll see vintage clothing, accessories, and shoes from giants like Dior, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and more. Your guide will narrate each designer’s history and will then lead you to the flagship store of a fashion powerhouse - Armani. Wander around, and if you find something you like, you may also have the option to request tailoring services directly in the store!

Did you know that Milan Fashion Week used to take place in Florence?

As one of the four fashion capitals in the world (with New York, London, and Paris), Milan hosts Fashion Week shows several times a year! However, the event was originally held in Florence - until organizer Giovanni Battista Giorgini realized the venue and city were too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests. Consequently, the event moved to Milan.

Book the Milan Fashion Tour and discover beautiful garments in Italy's fashion capital!
