I loved how well-organized this tour was. Everything was smooth, from Verona Porta Nuova station to all the sightseeing spots. I loved walking along the Adige River and seeing the view from Ponte Pietra. Sirmione on Lake Garda was also beautiful. It was a perfect spot for a peaceful afternoon. The tour had a good mix of history and relaxation, making it one of Milan's best day trips.
This was one of the best guided tours of Verona I’ve been on. The guide was fantastic, and the city of Verona is beautiful. I especially enjoyed seeing the Capulet residence balcony. It’s a must-see if you visit Verona! Sirmione was stunning as well, I couldn’t get enough of the panoramic views of Lake Garda!

The legend behind the Arena di Verona
A medieval legend says that a Veronese prisoner was sentenced to death. In hopes of saving his life, he promised to build a structure that could hold all the city’s citizens. He struck a deal with the devil to accomplish this task, calling on demons to help build the arena.
However, as the work progressed, the prisoner repented and prayed to Our Lady for forgiveness. The sun rose two hours early in response, stopping the demons from finishing the work. The demons were frightened by the sound of the morning Angelus bell and fled. They left the arena’s outer wing unfinished. Despite this, the prisoner was granted freedom for his efforts.
