I have been more than 5 times in Milano but never went to the Duomo rooftop. The weather was perfect so my husband and I decided to book these fast-track tickets and go for a climb. All went perfect! Kind security, no queuing and sunny views of the city. Guide was great. Seeing all those marble spires up close was truly amazing! Do it when the weather is good, otherwise it's worth half of it.
It was completely worth it. You get to see the architectural details and statues from angles you cannot see from the ground. The whole terrace area is much larger than I expected, giving us plenty of space to take photos. Everything went smoothly at the entrance with our mobile tickets. This is a must-do if you are visiting the city!
Elevator made the visit much easier. The views over the main square and the rest of Milan were stunning, especially in the afternoon light! It was quite windy up there, so bringing a light jacket is a good idea. Our guide was really knowledgeable. Recommend getting these skip-the-line tickets because the regular line to the rooftop was very long!
